Let Freedom Ring!

The 4th of July commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence (July 4, 1776) declaring the United States' independence from Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, barbecues, picnics, parades and maybe even a baseball game.

However, this year, the Camerons started new traditions at their July 4th / Going-Away Party where we declared Scottish Roy our honorary 4th of July fireworks master, stuffed ourselves with chips, dips, veggie kabobs, chicken sausage, baked beans, pasta salad and dessert after dessert (accidentally not leaving room for the Key Lime Pie Corey and Seth contributed), then ended the night perfectly with another new tradition of playing Guitar Hero even if the game doesn’t have "The Star-Spangled Banner"as a tune option.

We will miss Erin and Roy as fellow Floridians but maybe next year it will be a "4th in the Desert" theme when the party moves to Arizona?!?!
