After Saturday's 46-7 thrashing of Chattanooga at Doak, FSU has outscored their first two opponents — both Football Championship Subdivision schools — by the combined score of 115-7.
"We got two games to tune up and see if the car would run," said FSU head coach Bobby Bowden, whose team takes on No. 19 Wake Forest on Saturday. "Well, the car will run. It's will it run fast enough to play at that next level that we're fixin' to get into?"
Now the real season begins with Wake Forest at home next week but not to worry, even though our opponents were weak these last two weeks, just like the Seminoles, we've been warming-up and getting back into our tailgating routine and eating and drinking our way to the goal line! We tailgated at Corey's regular spot this week with a small group including me, Dan, Corey, April and Stefan, and we definitely ate like linebackers...our way of supporting the Noles from the sidelines!
