Family friends, Genna Cox and Dan Wilcox, got married this Saturday at Dorothy Oven Park. The mother of the bride, Ginger Cox, and the florists arrived at 8am and I followed shortly to help set-up for the big day and do anything I could to help. Ginger asked me to coordinate the reception and pretty much do anything that was needed on the day of the wedding and during the wedding, so I was there all day assisting and watching the park be transformed into a beautiful party atmosphere. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous that the florists (Tricia Lee and Mahaska Whitley) put together, the prettiest I think I've ever seen. The Azaleas and Camelias blooming in the park added even more color to the property.
Genna and Dan were both relaxed the entire day and love was in the air! The wedding went off without a hitch and the party lasted until late into the night with bride and groom finally leaving around 10:30pm. They are a great couple and I'm sure will be happy for many, many years to come. Congratulations to Genna and Dan!
