House Painting

This is the only picture Dan will "allow" me to put on our blog for now since he only wants the finished product shown! But he's been so hard at work (with the help of his Dad on the weekdays and occassional weekend), I had to put this one.

Even though half our house is brick, painting the blue wood has proven to be a much bigger task than Dan originally thought. The house being two-story doesn't help either, but he's making progress little by little. We've chosen to go with a white house with black shutters and a black front door. It looks great so far, and now we just need the rain to hold off so it can be completed. As soon as it's done, we'll be sure to post pictures of the finished painting...and then Dan will move onto his next task since he seems to have an endless list of things to do to make his home perfect.
