Saturday our chore day and finally a day to catch up on those things we haven't had time to attend to before the pre-game festivities/Labor Day parties started on Sunday. We went to a "Screw the U" party at our friend Dave's house and before that, my friend Heather brought her 1 year old Lab, Vivian over to play and swim with Chance and Duke. They were a mess (both the dogs and the people at the party later:) but animals and humans alike seemed to enjoy themselves.
Monday, of course, consisted of nothing but getting ready for the tailgate that started at 12:30pm, tailgating and seeing old friends that we only see during football season, then going to the game at 8pm. Even though our Seminoles lost, we played a great game and Ponder was never scared to throw the ball. We're not sure where our defense is but at least our offense has found it's way back to Doak!
