What a way to end 2010. After wrapping-up the Habitat for Humanity Boston butt fundraiser in the early afternoon of December 31 (we raised $500 in a month for Habitat which isn't bad this time of year), Dan and I relaxed by watching some great football, all the way through the huge FSU bowl game win! We were so proud of our Noles who looked great against South Carolina (and Spurrier, who we always enjoy beating) and are sad to see the season end.
After the game, we headed to a party at a friend's house to ring in the new year which included cigar smoking and whiskey drinking around the bonfire for Dan, while I got to hang out with the ladies in the kitchen and catch-up on everyone's holiday. The night had to end around 1pm since I planned a run at 9am with friends (20 miler around Southwood) to start the new year off on a positive note. It was worth it since the weather Saturday morning was perfect, followed by a rainy afternoon, so I was glad to be outside to enjoy the sunshine, breeze and gorgeous blue sky.
We hope everyone had a nice New Year's Eve and New Year's Day like we did, and hope 2011 is the best ever for all of you.
