Dan and I went to Destin for less than 24 hours this past Tuesday and Wednesday for a very quick get-away in order for him to receive an Eagle Award he was nominated for by the US Attorney's office. The award was for his work on a case that was almost a year long that he worked on with the US Attorney's office and DEA resulting in many arrests from Florida to Texas, and prison time for several big drug dealers. Even though Dan is humble about it all, I am very proud of him for his work and recognition on this case...and an overnight trip to Destin isn't half bad either!
