UF v. FSU flip cup: UF 2, FSU 0

Heather & Kristi are friends of Maggie's from Orlando who were two of the first to arrive at our tailgate. Even though they are Gators, we really enjoyed having them in Tallahassee with us.
We tailgated from 9:00am to 3:00pm, ate fried and grilled gator tail, fried grouper and gator kabobs but none of it helped once the Noles were on the field at kick-off, in the rain, at 3:30pm. Most of our tailgating crew braved the on-and-off rain, but were very disappointed to see our team lose to their biggest rival, the University of Florida Gators. It was hard to watch as all three quarterbacks played and could not complete passes and the ones that were completed, were dropped by our receivers. The weather certainly didn't help us out even though we thought weather would work to Florida State's advantage.
As always, the tailgate was fun and the since it's the last one of the season, even though the loss was quite depressing as we all held-out hope of an upset, we still love our Noles. As fans, we quickly forget that FSU did have a winning season even if they lost 4 games and were ranked 20 out of all the college teams in the country going into this game. That's pretty darn good, as Bobby Bowden could say.
